This Tishrei was unique and lively! It began with Rabbi Uri Superfin, flying in from Israel with his wife & child, to spend the month of Tishrei with the local community, as there currently is no Rabbi living there.
Rosh Hashana had large crowds for all the prayers, especially the Shofar blowing. Many fasted on Yom Kippur.
There was not enough seats in the synagogue. Between the holidays, Rebbi Uri gave amazing lectures on the deeper meaning of the holidays.
Our annual Sukkot event took place in the last few hours of the last day of Sukkot. Attracting some 160 people, it began with blessing the 4 species, then eating a hot meal in Russia's largest Sukkah, followed by music & dance.
When night fell, the Sukkot event turned into a Simchat Torah event, where the crowd danced Hakafot with the Torah.
The community was extremely thankful and happy to spend time with Rabbi Uri Superfin & thankful to Rabbi Yossi Marozov for his spiritual advice.
All of the prayers & events were coordinated & organized by Mr. Igor Dabakarov.
