Every day a large number of people came to the Ulyanovsk Jewish community Center to write a power of attorney for the sale of the chametz and to purchase the necessary products for observing Pesach and holding a sheder at home.
To clarify complex issues in the community, there was a team of employees who could give all the necessary telephone consultations on all issues concerning Pesach - how to celebrate a holiday at home, what is allowed and what is forbidden during the Pesachalnaya Week.
The community building was also actively released from Chametz, washed away the premises and prepared the kitchen for Pesach.
Thanks to the Jewish Fellowship foundation and ''Or Avner'' many needy families gave received free food packages filled with tons of Pesach foods and sweets.
This year Pesach our community plans to hold public passover Seders in Ulyanovsk and nighboring towns like Dmitrovgrad. We also plan a daily soup kitchen for free food to all that need.
We thank everyone who helped prepare the Pesach holiday and wish a kosher and happy Pesach to all members of the Ulyanovsk Jewish community!
