The Jewish Center of Ulyanovsk had an unexpected guest, Mr. Christopher Mizelle. The Second Secretary to the Embassy of the United States in Russia.
Mr. Mizelle spent over an hour with community leaders; President of the Jewish community Mr. Igor Dabararov, vice president Mr. Rukatskin, and Chief Rabbi of Ulyanovsk Rabbi Yossi Marozov.
They discussed the history of the Jewish community, current activities, and anti- Semitism. The meeting ended with Mr. Mizelle receiving a two hour tour around the city of Ulyanovsk.
