For the second consecutive year, a group of Ulyanovsk Jews gathered to celebrate the meaningful prayer of ”Slichot”.
The Slichot prayer is read at midnight worldwide in every Synogogue.
In Ulyanovsk it began with a musical Havdala gathering played by our beloved President Mr. Igor Dabakarov, followed by a class in Talmud and a spiritual gathering which including inspiring stories, proverb’s and songs.
As midnight came, each participant took upon themsleves a new years resolution, and only afterwards did we begin the ”Slichot”.
The prayers ended with a spountanous dance to the chores of an old Chasidic Melody.
