It has become a tradition to host a Shabbaton, at the end of June, for our teenagers club! This year was no exception. As opposed to renting a place, due to lack of funds, it took place at the Rabbi’s home. The teenagers had an incredible time! This might have been their best shabbaton ever!

The teens enjoyed a beautiful outdoor Friday night meal with delicious food and singing. The night continued with exciting contests and games. After enjoying a light Shabbos morning breakfast, the teens went to Shul. For some, it was their first time at Synagogue services. After the Shabbat meal, the teens enjoyed a scenic walk alongside the Volga River. Shabbat afternoon was filled with sports, games and contests. Towards the evening, the teens enjoyed a number of classes with Rabbi Yossi Marozov, Chief Rabbi of Ulyanovsk.

The Havdalah ceremony was held outdoors by Mr. Igor Dabakarov with music, song and dancing, followed by a bonfire and a Kumzits till the wee hours of the morning.

Sunday included a trip to laser tag and a barbecue.
