Simon is 67 years old. Nonetheless, that did not stop him from forming his covenant with God by going through a sugery not everybody is age would agree to do – circumcision! 

 

As is customary to take upon oneself a Jewish name after the circumcision, Simon has chosen Shimon! 

 

Salim had a circumcision when he was a young boy of five, by his Muslim father. Salim realized that although his father is Muslim, he is Jewish because his mother was a Jew. He began attending synagogue on a regular basis. Today Salim’s new name is Sholom!
