The 9th of May, Victory day, is one of the main legal holidays in Russia. It is the day the Russian Army won over the Nazi’s ym”s, thus saving many lives, including the lives of millions of Jews.
As every year, the Jewish Center of Ulyanovsk celebrated this Great Victory this year too.
We celebrate by remembering our dear veterans. On behalf of the Rabbi of the Ulyanovsk region, each veteran received a nice gift and was congratulated wholeheartedly!
