Rabbi Avi Cassel, the director of STARS – “Students Torah Alliance for Russian Speakers”, traveled from his office in Jerusalem all the way to Ulyanovsk to inspire our youth and encourge them to keep Yidishkeit. Over 25 students attended to be inspired by three lecturers: Mr. Igor Dabakarov, the president of the community, Rabbi Avi Cassel, and Rabbi Yossi Marozov, the Rabbi of Ulyanovsk. 

 

Many students stayed after the classes to personally speak with Rabbi Cassel, and give him their view on how to improve the students educational program. Everyone left extremely inspired!
