Purim was extremely exciting this year! It was even better than the past 3 years. In the past, we made a purim concert; the crowd heard megillah, some singers and went home. This year we had dancing, a costume contest, and a buffet with lots of booze. What was really amazing was that many children (and adults too!) showed up in their costumes! This is totally a new concept that took lots of time to introduce. Those who showed up without a costume were offered a mask or some hat! Throughout the event, confetti was thrown down to create a holiday atmosphere! 200 people showed up to the Purim party! Many others heard megillah at my home, in shul, or in the restaurant, at a separate event held Moitze Shabbos.
