We are so happy to share with our family and friends the great news that we are once again the proud parents of a beautiful, precious, delightful little boy!!! He was born on Shabbos morning and weighs 7 lbs. and 8 oz. We are so grateful to Hashem for this great miracle and we hope to always be able to share simchas and good news!

Our Babies name is Elchonon Dovber

Named after our baby’s great great paternal grandfather Elchonon Dovber Marozov, the secretary of the Rebbe Rashab and the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe.

Reb Elchonon Marozov was the Chavrusa of the previous Lubavitcher Rebbe, from the founding students, and later Mashgiach/Mashpia of Yeshivas Tomchai Temimim.

The Rebbe Rashab said that the hebrew initiols of Elchonon is Odom (man) because Reb Elchbonon is the must perfect man he can learn Torah (both the revealed and the hidden) and he is a troumendsly Ba’al Middos.

The previous Lubavitcher Rebbe called him “der Beinuni fun der Tanya”.

Reb Elchbonon ran the famous underground Yeshivah that spanned in over 50 cities throughout the Russian Empire from the early 1920 till his death. In 1938 the KGB executed him. At his sentence they declared may Mr. Elchonon Dovber Marozov be killed in the place of Rabbi Yosef Y. Shneerson because we cannot kill him (he already left Russia).
