Boruch Hashem, we are glad to announce that our renovations are coming to an end! In less than 2 weeks, we will finally have a well functioning center. As usual, with renovations, once you start it’s hard to stop. For example, when we saw the nice painted classrooms, we felt we must get rid of the old doors – so we are putting in 18 new doors. We also realized that since we already renovated all over, we must also renovate the main lobby, that looks terrible. We then realized we need new window shades, new furniture, kitchen equipment, 5 new windows, a video homophone for security… Of course, all this is being done by local Jews for cost price or even less! Nevertheless, our renovations is costing us an additional $10,000. The good news is that we already fundraised and spent the originally planned $40,000! Even better news is that in less than 2 weeks we will be finished. We plan to make our grand opening on Rosh Hashana!
